LMPS Members Enjoy Summer's First Log
Jam at No Name Cove
The
summer's first Log Jam at No Name Cove was enjoyed by members of Lake Murray
Power Squadron and their guests, as about 30 boats rafted up for a beautiful
Saturday outing on Lake Murray on Saturday 10 June. P/C Debra was recovering
from a sprained ankle, but our friend Lori joined me on the lake and we took
a few photos of the gathering at No Name Cove.
If you
missed this raft-up, there is a second Log Jam
scheduled for August 19, but we have many other boating activities scheduled
between now and then.
Keep an eye out for email notices about our
old fashioned pig pickin' that will be held on Saturday 1 July. We'll eat about 12:30 p.m. or 1 p.m. with BBQ pork and chicken, along with all
the trimmings. Cost is only $12 per person so don't miss this event. And,
remember, the Lake Murray Fireworks will be the highlight of the evening so plan to come on
out to Flotilla by boat or land and enjoy the July Fourth festivities.
