June Log Jam Brings
LMPS Members Out on the Water
It was 12 June and everyone was
excited for our first Log Jam of the year. The weather report was marginal, so
we gathered closer than usual to Flotilla Island and anchored in what our group
refers to as Eagle’s Cove east of Pine Island.
Valerie and John Hunter aboard
Valhalla set an anchor before lunchtime, while 18 other squadron boats with
nearly 40 members pulled alongside to tie up for the afternoon to visit with
each other, swim and enjoy lunch.
It was a beautiful day; until it
wasn’t. The rain moved in and while a few boats raced back to Flotilla Island,
others remained at anchor and waited out the storm. Check out the photos below
to see all of our fun!
